Be open to listen without judgment and show compassion.

Be genuinely interested in your friend’s every day life.

Big stuff is easy, it’s the little accomplishments, and small details that sometimes go unnoticed, but at the same time the small stuff is equally important to share and celebrate.

Remembering your friend’s birthday is an absolute must. Even if you can’t send a gift, or forgot to send a card, a phone call on that day shows you care.

Writing a nice card to your friend from time to time, “just because” is a great way of showing them you are always thinking of them.

Make your friend a mixed CD of all the songs that define your friendship or simply the one you both like.

Make a scrap book of all the memories that you share.

Throw a sleepover party. Rent movies, buy popcorn, chocolates and all other prohibited foods that we shouldn’t have, and just have a blast.

Plan one day to spend with your friend to catch up.

A cute and simple frame with a picture of you and your girlfriend, is easy and will allow your friend to look at you everyday!

Why not make one for yourself too?

During the week, take your friend out for a movie, or even dinner and a drink.

Who says that Tues/Wed. night is automatically a night you can’t go out and have fun?

Why not cook dinner for your friend (with all the fixens)on a weeknight so that she can have a stress-free evening?

Send your friend a dozen roses, and explain what each rose symbilizes of your friendship.
