This is a very inexpensive fish, most of the times you can find it in Costco
After washing and drying Tilapia’s fillets take two eggs beat them in a bowl (add salt and pepper) and dip fillets transferring them on a hot skillet that already has either PAM or olive oil
Fry the fish for about a minute or less on each side and transfer to a glass bowl.

Slice one large onion and saute all that really means fry onion on a small fire until it's golden brown using a little oil
That should take no more than 15 minutes make sure you don’t burn the onion (very important)
Take a can of sliced or diced tomatoes and add it to the onions on the skillet, saute for about 2 minutes add half a cup of catchup, pour over the talapia and place it in the pre heated oven for about 10 minutes at 425
This is a great dish to eat immediately or when it’s cold.
The beauty of this dish is that it has practically no fat and the fish doesn’t smell, so you can actually have people over that same evening.

1 Large Onion

People love tilapia because it’s so mild tasting. Even people who say they hate fish will often eat tilapia. Even better, it’s a sustainable farm-raised fish that’s plentiful.
I love Tilapia! Thanks for the receipe. My local market has a tortilla crusted tilapia that I adore! I like to serve it with fresh steamed veges like brocolli.
