Family: you can't live with them and you can't live without them! Sometimes that is the way many of us feel. I admit that I had a tough childhood with a father that provided a good standard of living but was a violent alcoholic that left me with some real emotional problems. I would watch any movie that had a good father son relationship and I would be in tears. Developing family relationships is an area that I worked very hard on to improve.
You may have noticed that some people have wonderful, loving family relationships and that others do not. Those that have positive family relationships are more often than not using the Law of Attraction to their benefit. You can use the Law of Attraction easily and effectively.
One of the great things about the Law of Attraction and relationships is that you can use it to benefit a relationship — and the other person does not need to use it! Your use of it can have a great affect. After they notice a difference, you may confess to using the Law of Attraction and they may want to do exactly what you have been doing all along.
One of the most important things to express in our family relationships is gratitude. Gratitude is critical to using the Law of Attraction. With the Law of Attraction, like attracts like. So what you think and believe truly creates your world. Doesn't it make sense to think happy and grateful thoughts? By thinking grateful thoughts about your relationship, you can actually improve your relationship easily and effectively.
Begin by simply thanking the Universe or God for this person in your life. See this person in your mind's eye several times a day. Think of just how much this person means to you. Try thinking of some of the good times you have spent together and have enjoyed. Think of just how much this person means to you. See yourself telling this person "I love you" and this person telling you "I love you" back.
Family relationships can at times be challenging because of the give and take of these relationships. Sometimes we feel like we are the one who is always giving and they are the one who is always taking. To use the Law of Attraction, remember that all relationships are mirrors and your thoughts and beliefs are simply being shown to you. So if you don't like what you see — you need to help change the picture. Even if this relationship has been hard and you feel the other person is in the wrong, step forward and figure out how you could improve things. You may discover that just your stepping forward makes them step right toward you too. This changes the relationship that you have so intensely. You are changing your thoughts and the give and take of the relationship.
Affirm to yourself each day that you have a loving family and that your relationships are harmonious. Affirmations are positive statements used to help change your beliefs. By saying these affirmations several times a day, you can truly change your thinking and thus change your life. Create an affirmation that is ideal and personal for your circumstances. So if your relationship with your sister is the challenge you face, create an affirmation about how much you and your sister love each other. Say it at least three times a day.
The Law of Attraction has the ability to improve and change your family relationships. Everyone wants a close "Brady Bunch" style family and we all deserve loving families. By using the Law of Attraction, you can improve your family dynamics.
