Most women believe that as they get older, their beauty will slowly fade. What they don't know, however, is that true beauty is ageless. With just a little fashion savvy and a positive self-image, all of us can learn to have confidence in our appearance despite the changes that will come as we pass from one life stage to another. Unfortunately, we sometimes get stuck in a fashion rut that keeps us from reaching our full potential as beautiful women.
But, the good news for women everywhere is that factors such as age, weight, and income don't have to dictate how fashionable we can make ourselves. The most important lesson for women to learn is that no one is perfect! We all have issues?but we can overcome most of them by taking care of ourselves and dressing for the body we have now ? not for the one we had fifteen years ago. I have a question that is not related to dress or style...maybe...I am 51 years and my hair is streaked with gray. I have a severe allergy to the coloring in hair dyes so I’ve elected not to color my hair....
my question...can you still look “styling” with gray hair?
Coloring hair seems to be heralded as a must if women are expected to be seen as fashionable.
I would love to hear from women who chose not to color their hair and are still able to present themselves as being fashionable and stylish?
Thanks
Are you kidding? Any woman can look polished and beautiful, whether they dye their hair or not! I LOVE gray streaks in hair.
And to inspire you, here is a photo of Cindy Joseph, who BEGAN her modeling career at the age of 48 - with gray hair to boot!
What makes a woman beautiful and fashionable (IMO) is what she projects from the inside !
I agree that beauty comes from the inside and shines through the eyes. That's one of the reasons I started my business. We've used images of women who are over forty and have never modeled before. So if you want some inspiration, check these ladies out. We will be adding to our models soon. Our company is new, but the message is timeless. Real beauty is about a whole lot more than the number of birthdays you've celebrated. With regard to hair coloring, I think alslou should be proud of her hair color and good for her for avoiding all those chemicals! The "winter" pallette looks great with silver hair as do some pastels such as pinks. But we women should not limit ourselves by the color of our hair!
