Only a parent can understand the frustration of other parents when their child is attacked by cyber-bullies. There is good news and bad news. The good news is that there is an increasing awareness about this problem. More and more schools, parents, teachers, and legislators are now aware of this problem. It is no longer a “closet” problem, if you will, writes Uma Gupta. The bad news is that we don’t have solutions. Perfect solutions or even imperfect solutions are still in the making. But one thing Dr. Gupta says does not work and that is remaining silent when you are under attack. “You must speak up. You must make your voice be heard. And you must make it loud and clear that you will not be bullied.”
