Today the hands free cell phone law was activated.

California citizens are not allowed to use cell phones while driving, and can only talk through a bluetooth device.

I am not sure if this applies to other states, but those of you in California watch out for talking on your cell phone, because it is a big fine.

    • I had one, sent the damned thing through the washer last week and fried it!! Figures. So, I ordered another one on eBay this afternoon and got one for $19.99 with FREE shipping! Not a bad deal and it gets delivered right to your door, saves gas and saves y‘all from getting tickets :o(

    • Actually, you can use a earphone/speaker set that plugs into your phones USB port. Or use a cradle for the phone and the speaker feature. Both cheaper than blue tooth, neither needs to be charged, and no problem with synching.

Remarkably, you can still legally text message (or twitter) while driving.
