Liberate – to set free, as from oppression, confinement, or foreign control.

Next year will be the year of liberation for me; the year that I liberate myself from the mental oppression that I allowed to take over my life.I placed myself in a box and did not realize that I could expand into any shape I wanted to become.Any changes that came my way that was different from what I was used to, frightened me.I was controlled by fear and doubt. It was like looking from behind a veil and seeing where it is you wanted to go but not knowing how to get there.I was imprisoned in my own head by my own thoughts and beliefs.

The year 2007 was my year of awakening.I became conscious of my surroundings and who I was as a person.I became conscious of the paralysis of my mind and like trying to awaken from a nightmare I made a decision to face every last fears and doubts that imprisoned me one by one until it awoke my entire body. When I became conscious of where I was and where I wanted to go, I then became aware of the Guide who would direct me to the tools and signpost needed for the journey.I stopped and started to listen to the Guide that was inside of me.This Guide directed me to tools that helped me to realize my purpose and with that purpose I received a new perspective on life. With my new perspective came liberation.Liberation from the chains of oppression, confusion, religion and frustration that had me bound.

It is stated that once you know the truth, it will set you free.Once you know the truth, you will never return to “what was” but approach “what is”.
