Love it

After cleaning out my pantry, I have a newfound respect for the saying Waste Not, Want Not! I threw away far toooo many boxed and canned products due to their expiration date.

Now that I’m aware of this mishap, I’ll rotate my foodstock and begin planning meals according to the items in my pantry.

The above mentioned is the reason I baked banana bread.  My very first! I had 3 over-ripe bananas and I decided to put them to good use instead of tossing them as I’ve done in the past.  I also made a pan of banana bread besides the mini loaves.  The bread is quite delicious!

Love it

    • The other day I baked a peanut butter chocolate chip banana bread instead of throwing away the 2 black bananas. Yummy!

I think we all have expired boxed and canned food. I’ve had to toss some and felt wasteful too. Rotating food stock is a good idea.

    • Linda, that banana bread sounds yummy!

I spent less shopping yesterday as I was aware and very determined to only buy items that I know I will use soon.
