I used to have a few quick weight loss tricks.  I would eat salads for dinner for a whole week, run a few days in a row or try the "diet of the month" for a few days until I felt back on track and lost a few pounds.  These were my go to strategies if I ate or drank garbage as most 20 somethings do.  I am grateful that I at least paid attention.

Many of you have shared that you have similar strategies but when you put them in to place now, they just don't do the trick.  There are biological reasons for this which I will share in this post but know that just because the old tricks don't work anymore, all hope is not lost.

The good news is that armed with this knowledge, you can adopt NEW strategies that will get you results and I will give you NEW tips and tricks to help you achieve your goals.

1.  You Have A Slower Metabolism – Yeah, yeah, you know this one and you're not happy about it.  Neither am I but current research shows that we increase our metabolism by eating smaller meals more often.  Heard this before too?  Ok, what actions will you take to apply this advice?

2.  Your Hormones Are Unstable – Again, we know, but this is not an excuse to give up on your health or the possibility of getting a body you love.  This is not a losing battle.  Know the facts.  By applying the above strategy to eat smaller meals more often through out the day, you are stabilizing your blood sugar levels which affect hormone balance.  Even if you are on medication and doctor supervision, this strategy will benefit your weight loss efforts.

3.  Your Exercise Routine Is Ineffective - All over the internet people are telling you you're not working hard enough.  That's bull crap.  You're working plenty hard enough your just not using the right strategy.  If you are still doing the same Cardio machine workout that you've done for years, it is ineffective.  A good weight lifting routine using your whole body (not just specific body parts) mixed with 30 second bouts of high intensity Cardio creates a fat burning, metabolic response in your body.  Click here for a video example of this style of exercise you can start today.
