I’m 49 years old....old? No - of age! Anyways. Since being in my 40’s I noticed a lot of changes in my body..haven’t we all. But I am specifically talking about how I feel when I eat. You know that bloated, ugly feeling. So to feel better I found that when I cut back....way back on the amount I am having for a meal. I feel better.

One thing I found out is that I had to change the type of bread I eat. No more white bread or brown 100% whole wheat. Not even the 7 grains. I switched to Gluten Free bread. Feeling better.
Cut back the sugar. I mean really cut it out. I’m always reading labels. I don’t care who sees me too! Feeling better. So I basically cut out all the white stuff. Sugar, Flour, Rice, Potatoes. I feel better.
And in the past few months I have had this craving for vegetables. I would cut up cauliflower, broccoli, cucumbers, tomatoes, especially tomatoes, love tomatoes! carrots, whatever looked good. Cut it up, have it in the fridge, take some to work with me and munch on fresh vegetables.

I believe it did me a world of good. My complexion looks better, brighter. I feel good. But what really caught my attention is that I did not get sick once with a cold this winter. Not even a touch of anything. I believe it was the vegetables!
Now I am buying more fruit. Oranges, bananas, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, strawberries. But I have to be careful. Due to the price of these delicious fruits. Very expensive!!
Early last year driving taxi. There is no time to stop and go sit down and eat at home or at a restaurant. I was utilizing Burger King, Mcdonalds, A&W...big mistake. Blah! Now I’m trying hard to get rid of that big mistake also known as POUNDS!!!
I noticed too that I have no desire to eat that type of food anymore. I drove this one man the other day. He wanted to stop at Mcdonalds drive through! Anyways, he got his food and was talking all the way to his destination. All the way there all I could think of was that the smell of his food was making me sick! Nauseous! That was interesting to food smell making me sick. I’ll take that as a sign that I’m on the right track with my fruits and vegetables.
Have a wonderful, blessed day!!!

Love it
