Wishing everyone at Fab40 a happy and safe Christmas. I hope that during this special time your life is filled with inner peace and contentment.

As you finish your shopping for that special dinner, please take a few dollars and buy a bag of dry dog or cat food and donate it to your local animal rescue or animal shelter. Due to the bad economy, donations are drastically down. There are many helpless animals that through no fault of their own have become lost in this world and do not understand why. They want only some food, shelter from the cold, and someone to love them.

We all have so much.

Be generous.

    • I agree. The Humane Society and the ASPCA have web sites to show what some of these animals who have been abandoned and abused look like. Their TV commercials tug at my heart every time I see them. I can’t get to the shelters without a car, so I will donate to these two agencies online. I’m signed up to socialize cats at the public shelters through the volunteer organization I belong to, but lately they’ve been dog walking large breeds in a borough I can’t get to, but when they start up again with the cats, I may find one with a personality I can’t part with and bring him home with me!estatic
