Well, its been a year and a half since we bought the truck.  Since then, I’ve been pretty sad, only having my husband home on the weekends and having to have an over-the-phone relationship with him during the weekdays.

I love riding with him, but its not feasible for me to be on the truck with him all the time and keep my business afloat.

Finally, we found a broker that may bring him home more nights than he would be out, due to our location.  This is really exciting news for me.  Because I miss him terribly and you can tell, he misses being home with us.

I’m praying that this works out.  We really won’t find anything out until April, but it seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel.  The only down side is that he will be hauling hogs.  I don’t miss him hauling cattle, that’s a scary venture, when it comes to potential injuries.

We’ve had hogs before, and I know what they are capable of, so I’m a little nervous about him hauling them.  But I guess, you make sacrifices to be together.

So I sit here now counting the days until April, and the possibility that my husband can join our family for evening meals and entertainment.

Its amazing how important those things are when you don’t have them.
