MARY‘S TAKE:

It has been my vast experience (after all, I'm on Marriage #2), that besides "LET'S HAVE SEX", men's other 3 favorite words seem to be:

"REMIND ME TO..."

What do I have?  The words "Personal Secretary" stamped all over my forehead?I was graciously reminding my husband to do something for his daughter the other morning.  He said, "OK, remind me to do that tonight.  I have a very busy day today."

(Ladies, do you have any triggers where your action is instant and swift?)

I retorted in a huff, "Like I don't also have a busy day?  I just reminded you bud.  You're on your own at this point."

He was indignant.

I then thought to myself of all the times I hear men say this to their wives.  "Remind me to fill in the blanks."

Is this innate genetic programming?

Are they playing the gender card?

Do we need to get Barack involved?

Or better yet...Hillary—She, unlike my husband, may have a lot more time.

LORRAINE‘S TAKE:

There are only a few sentences that I want to hear after my husband says, "Remind me to..."

Honey, remind me to... make dinner tonight.

Remind me to take out the trash.

Remind me to wash and simonize your car.

Remind me to vacuum the living room and polish the furniture.

And finally.....

Remind me to buy those diamond earrings you wanted.
