We got a new addition to our family, a pug last Saturday.  I really didn’t want a dog.  Our dog Coda had to be put down in January and I had kinda of gotten used to not having a dog.  Plus we had gone away a couple times and not had to worry about who was going to watch the dog.

Jason’s aunt breeds pugs.  They had 3 dogs, the mother, the father, and the one we got.  When Kyle saw the pug, it was love at first sight.  I could tell both him and his brother really liked the dog and so did my husband.

They said they could have sold the dog for quite a bit of money but they wanted to make sure it would have a good home.

Jason, my husband, has always been a dog person.  I am more of a cat person.  But I like this little dog.  He’s pretty small, a toy dog.  He’s very affectionate and great with the boys.

Plus the dog is teaching my oldest son about responsibility.  He’s responsible for feeding it and walking it.  He enjoys it too.

Here’s to the pets in our lives.
