As many of you know I have a cooking blog called [Link Removed]and I wanted to give you a peek at today's topic ... a Romantic Dessert for Two...

One of the perks to being over 40... most of us no longer have young children we can have those moments alone and for those that do have younger children... well... time alone is a premium... and it's nice to take advantage of that when you can... and you should..

It's important to keep the romance in a relationship... it's easy to become complacent and sit in front of the TV watching NCI with a bowl of ice cream...

You should plan evenings when it's just about the two of you...and food can certainly help... candlelit dinners... wine and cheese & fruit in front of a fire... and sweet desserts all rank up there with building a nice romantic evening...

I've posted romantic dinners for two... and romantic breakfasts ... now I have a romantic dessert for two...  Strawberries and Chantilly Cream Crepes ... one chocolate covered strawberry...  champagne or an American sparkling wine would go well with this... a truly romantic ending to a dinner and beginning to an evening.

What's especially nice about this... it can all be prepped ahead and just a few minutes to assemble it... perfect for that special evening.

    • I believe in healthy living and eating, but NEVER to exclude something as obviously fantastic as these crepes!!

This one I must try - and I love the romantic aspect of it....I’m thinking champagne with this one!

      Thank you!

    • Thanks encee!  They are great... I love Chantilly Cream... and Champagne does go well with it.

Tracy... I don’t know much about gluten free... I’m assuming that you would need no flour in the recipe?  I don’t think you can make crepes without flour...

And thanks for letting me know about the link.... seems when I added the link... it added an extra / ... I manually fixed it... I have no idea why it does that... I tried it three times before I figured out what it was doing.

      Thanks again... I appreciate it.
