A Warming Christmas Story

I was lying on the couch watching TV when I heard a knock on the door. I opened the door and a delivery man was holding the most beautiful Christmas bouquet. It was made of velvet red roses and white carnations. I am a sucker for roses and carnations. I signed the paper and bid him a Merry Christmas, then shut the door. I put it down and read the card. It was from someone with the same name as my father in law but the address was wrong. He lived in Georgia and my father in law lives in Fort Myers, Florida; the same town as us. I called the flower shop because I wanted to thank the wonderful giver. She gave me his number so I called him. I told him that I do have relatives with the same name but different address. We had a wonderful talk. He is a southern gentleman. Not only does he have the same name as my father in law but his mother's name is Faith Little, just like mine. She lives in a town near us. I called the flower shop to ensure that the gift goes to the intended recipient. I would not have been upset if they came and got, even though it is gorgeous, for it was not mine to keep. I called them and they made arrangements to pick it up. I got a call later both from the flower shop and the sender and they told me to keep it. I thanked them and we exchanged a Merry Christmas. I am sharing my little hallmark Christmas moment with my wonderful fab40 friends and wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Love, Faye happy

I have a picture of it in my Christmas Art album. I made a Photoshop picture using a picture I took of it. Here is the link...
