It’s been a lazy Sunday for me. Today hubby and I slept in and upon rising for the day we shared a light breakfast and coffee and some great conversations about people and life in general. My hubby is a man who has come from the streets and has learned a lot through the education of hard knocks so to speak, he came from a wonderful family with both parents working in the household, but due to his stubborness he turned to a life of drugs and crime and the end results of his bad decisions he ended up doing hard time behind bars for 4 years of his life in his early 20’s. He has made a lot of mistakes in life as some of us has, but through it all GOD has spared us through His grace and mercy. As hubby and I shared and reflected on our past we both came to know (not that we haven’t shared this in our beginnings) but it felt good to go back and reflect on where we came from to reflect on where we are today and we both had to give all praise honor and glory to GOD first because we both know that without Him we are nothing, can do nothing and will be nothing without Him.

Our visions for our future are the same but yet we have some different views on a few things, but all in all we still share the same goals for our future together. My hubby is a very hard working man who does work hard to provide for me, for us as well as for my daughters and grand daughter who are his steps but he never look upon them as so they all excepted one another the moment we all came to be. That in itself is a huge blessing because there was never any drama in that. Hallelujah thank you Jesus! He even has a good relationship with my ex-husband when it comes to our children, so that is a good thing and a blessing as well.

As my hubby and I were chatting this morning we talked about our current environment and how though its not bad and we both are comfortable in it and that we know GOD still has better and greater for us. Life is a journey in which we all have to follow that path that road that GOD has mapped out for us, yes we try to go along from day to day with our so called planned menus for our daily activities, but in actuality what we do has already been predestined. GOD knew we were going to do the things we have done or is going to do because it was already in His plans from the beginning.
He tells us in *Jer. 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.*
I’m not a person who believe’s in things just happening, I believe in the things of GOD and of His Word and His plans for my life.

As I have said in past postings I am looking forward to the greater rewards in walking in Christ and serving Him. Not the material rewards, but those things which are spiritual, because we are spirit and those things are what make us not material things. He tells us also that this life and all that is within it shall soon pass away, but the things of the spirit shall last forever in Him.

*I said, O my God, take me not away in the midst of my days: thy years are throughout all generations.*

*25Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands.*

*26They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed:*

*27But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end.*

*28The children of thy servants shall continue, and their seed shall be established before thee. (Ps.102:24-28)*

I'm looking forward to that whole new world.
