Morning Ladies,

I’ve shared in some emails that I signed up on to meet someone to date
as the start of moving on after divorce. I’m older than the most of you and think myself
really really brave to step into this, but I’m feeling ready.

Thanks to my ex, I’m more independent than I was when we married and I won’t com-
plain that some of it grew out of nenessity, or my “love story” version I believed in back then that wasn’t our reality. I’ve evolved, I’m more willing to go it without marriage or a iron clad commitment of some kind, I have Me and my animals.

That said... let’s move onto the fun stuff!

I haven’t dated yet, but it looks like I may be meeting up with one man I’ve been talking to on the phone. Tomorrow if this snow storm doesn’t cancel his reason to drive down from where he lives, we’ll meet in town.

Meanwhile, there’s a man I’ve talked with through emails and on the phone and we may be just phone buddies, but how nice to have someone to talk with about every day life. He’s lived an interesting, adventurous life, has a sense of humor and I enjoy talking with him.

One man wanted me to rush off to meet him without any preliminary conversation and
that was the end of talking with him! Too self involved. Didn’t need an alarm and flash-
ing lights with him and I don’t feel bad I left him dangling.

And another man made me shy away because he was too complimentry too soon and
my profile (to me) leaves a lot of questions to ask. I’m not desperate for attention. The
focus is to really listen to emails to see what these men know about themselves.

I’ll let you all know how it goes.

Love it
