Hi!
I’ve been thinking about this for awhile now. I would like to change up a few things, andI’m just wondering;
After you got into your 4o’s, did you change your. . .

1. skincare?
2. makeup?
3. wardrobe?

What works best for you skincare/makeup wise? Maybe no more sparkly things as they can age us. Skin changes apprx every seven yrs~ maybe yours changed and you had to switch it up?
what’s your story? estatic

      To be honest I never had a skin care regimen that I followed just plan ole soap and water maybe some moisturizer here and there.
      My makeup is pretty much the same also. But I tend not to wear a loud lipstick or even nail color I lean towards the neutrals.
      My wardrobe always changes from the shoes to the handbag that is a must for me gotta keep up with the latest fashions, but I have come away from the low cleveage showing tops/dresses and the shorter skirts/dresses.
      I’m still a stilletto wearing hot moma lol. And I still have my sexiness in my dress lolheartestatic

    • I don’t usually wear makeup, but I needed some for job interviews.  I went to Sephora which is expensive, but good quality and they have cruelty-free products and an easy return policy.  My skin is redder and drier than it used to be so I need a primer and a good moisturizing foundation. Also just one or two flattering lipsticks rather than the whole collection I had when I used to match shades to my nail polish.

    • Oh well.... I gave up on my appearance somewhat in my 50’s for awhile because I was sick so often. Then I started paying closer attention to myself again. But I didn’t find a make up not loaded with chemicals I could wear until a little over a year ago.

      Now I wear the mineral makeup. I can’t color my hair, but I keep it trimmed and shiny. My favorite clothes have always had a classic look instead of trendy. I don’t wear short skirts anymore, not into low necklines, and I like the mid heel or flat shoes to dress up jeans. I love boots, so I have a lot of them in the closet. ;oD

      Oh, one thing I’ve noticed is needing a lip liner now and I found one that matches my lip color that I can wear alone or with the organic lip stain I wear for dressing up. I can’t use a powder make up around my eyes, it dries the skin out and looks creapy. A bit of powder mixed with lotion works better around the eyes.

    • If I’ve made changes since I’ve been 40, they’ve been so gradual I haven’t noticed them myself.  I guess the main thing would be that I color my hair now and then because my natural color is fading away.  Wardrobe, I still have few options, I buy what I can find that fits, which isn’t much.
