In case you haven’t guessed, I turned the big 4-0 last Saturday.  Yep, I was born on a Friday the 13th.....................so now it ALL makes sense!  lol  

I actually have a lot to be thankful for:

A very supportive husband......... ( lets me get away with most everything & pretends to enjoy my craziness)

I was able to hold my fathers hand when he passed away  

I still have my mom to share my stories with  : )

I have a handful of very special friends who never ever forget me, even when we lose touch for a while.

I endured a very traumatic health crisis exactly two years ago & I have come out the other side no worse for wear.

I don’t exactly look 40...........keep your opinions to yourself

I have a wonderful pit bull from a rescue shelter.  

An  adorable little blue parakeet my husband gave me for our 2nd anniversary  

I have a beautiful home

A car I love..........( again, hubby just smiled.....“What my baby wants, my baby gets“............thats the part where I smile )  

Plenty of food

And way too much clothes

I had the opportunity to leave my job of 15 years and return to school full time.

I now do what I LOVE......................and people seem to LOVE what I do.

  • I had the most amazing experience at work the other day.  My client had MS and had no use of his body from the waist down.  He is wheelchair bound.  I had to lift him from his chair, and help him dress and undress.   This all hit him at age 40 .  Half way through our session he said,   " Other then my shoulder pain,  I have no complaints."        ....................  enough said.
