You have to applaud the Dove commercials for their contribution to the acceptance of natural body shapes and aging. It is high time we redefined beauty in our culture. Chasing the impossible illusion of beauty created by a photoshop-mad world is frustrating to say the least.
Self-loathing is all too common among women and for many their self-esteem takes a beating as they struggle with aging. We are constantly bombarded with images of sexy, svelte, lean, trim, YOUNG, perfect bodies everywhere. We watch as celebrities defy aging for as long as possible with the help of plastic surgery.
Some decide that they need to hide their aging bodies from their partners and sometimes even from them selves. Mirrors become the enemy. Be brave and embrace your sexuality. The majority of you have partners that find you attractive and sexy. Show off a little and enjoy the reaction.
Even an old house looks better when it is painted. Grooming is essential. A woman of any age who is clean, well groomed, wearing a little make up and dressed in flattering clothes just looks better.
Self-acceptance is a huge part of aging sexily. Being comfortable with you body, yourself, and life can help you feel much more attractive. Confidence and self-acceptance can be very sexy on a woman.
To Age Sexily:
?Don't dress like you are 16
?Don't dress like you are 90
?Do choose clothes flattering to your body type
?Don't wear clothes that are too tight or too baggy
?Throw or give away any clothes that make you look or feel frumpy
?Take care of your hair, skin and nails
?SMILE and enjoy life
Feeling sexy has less to do with how you look than it does with what is going on in your mind. If you want to age sexily begin by thinking of yourself as sexy.

I agree with all you said. We don’t have to have perfect body but grooming does make a BIG difference.
I think if you eat healthy, think healthy, love and accept yourself and tapped into the power of your mind to “shape” you, you are on the right track.
I believe we CAN have it all - Be sexy, be confident, be in shape and BE ALIVE!
