My Thoughts

This is one of the most awesome quotes I’ve heard. We are the best things in our life because without our spirit, body and mind, we would have no life.

Learning to believe in ourselves is a major key to recovery. Applying gratitude for what we have can be a great tool. As I was typing, some ideas came to mind of how we could apply this.

Keep a gratitude journal and write in it daily as to why you are grateful for your spirit, body and mind. Create a collage reminding you to be grateful and post it on your wall. Indulge yourself daily with one small thing to show gratitude to yourself. It doesn’t have to be anything difficult, play a game, take a bubble bath, read a book. Just remind yourself before you begin that you are showing yourself gratitude for being!
