Last Friday 12/3 at 1:15 p.m. I was inside a scanner machine.  A bone scan was ordered by my rheumatologist to determine if I had developed Paget’s Disease.  That is a condition where certain bones in your body start to over-grow and could cause potential problems.  If it was discovered in the skull, then it could lead to loss of hearing and constant headaches...if it were found in the hip bone, it could lead to destruction of the hip area and walking then becomes a problem.  I have not received the results yet, so I have been a bit jittery...could a martini take care of that?..yes, absolutely..but the mere fact that I have been through much worse gives me lots of hope.

My doctors are fantastic, thank God, and my family is even more so.  I live each day in happiness, serenity and peace because as my sister (who has MS) puts it..“it is what it is“..and that gives me complete strength.  I have accomplished things in my life and continue to pursue what I can and rarely let anything get the best of me, so as Friday night is upon us, much strength, happiness, hope, perseverance and love to all my friends here..and I will raise my glass to us all!heartheart

Love it
