During my cleaning hours I came across a flier in one of the offices about Angel Food Ministries. I don’t know if any of you have heard of this...I never did. But I have done some research on this and will post the website for you. It is outreach groups that are providing groceries to any family regardless of income at almost half price. They have a monthly menu to choose from that changes each month. You can purchase as much as you want. Some areas let you order online but you must pick it up. What caught my eye is that you could feed a family of four for $30.00.
With the way the economy is now this looks like a very generous program. You do not have to qualify for the program. They also offer menus for seniors or people on the go.
I have not ordered anything from them yet but I am planning on doing so. They have seafood menus and also fruit and vegetable packages.
Check out the website. There is a section to put your zipcode in to see where the closest site to you would be.

I’ll let you know next week. The ladies at the office I clean use them all of the time. So I will post the information. I am also going to try it out.
this is available here in my area. I have friends who do it and they love it. I have never participated because I live alone so the food would go bad before I used it all.
This is available where I am, too. I know a lot of families who have used this, and I’ve never heard anything but praise. It even inspired one woman I worked with to start attending church services with her children at the church where they distributed the food.
