I know mine are after looking for the perfect pair with no rims just the show of the lenses, which is fine I remember back when I use to wear thick framed glasses in sometime most of us looked like dorks, or nerds if you will haha!!

So, yeah Are your glasses Fabulous After 40?

I love hearing from you! If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions please feel free to contact me

Thank you,

Veronica

    • It is amazing that somepeople dont care what they put on their face when it is usually  first thing they  see.

You did a great job picking out yours. Almost as great as mine  LOL

    • Yes!  Two years ago, right when I turned 40, I got the first pair of glasses that I’ve ever really LOVED.  I’ve had a lot I hated (I’ve been wearing glasses since I was 2 1/2), and some that just got by...but mine right now really fit my face and make me feel great.  Small oval shape, bright copper wire, and lots of fun.

    • Shamela, I have been wearing glasses too at a very young age and the Dr. at the time would tell my Mom don’t get her any fancy glasses because remember she is still young and when she gets older she can make her own choices by then and pick which frames she would like...which was true I was very active and always playing with the boys in schools regards to sports.  As I got older I was gladly to get rid of my ugly ones...LOL  I am thinking of getting Lasik I am a good candidate for it. estatic

Yes, I love them too you can actually see my features better and my big brown eyes....heart

    • 2 weeks ago today, I went to bed and woke on Saturday morning w/o my glasses next to my bedside.  I shrugged it off thinking I left them in the bathroom.  After my shower, I still couldn’t find them.  My husband and I searched for them with me getting sicker and sicker as we looked.  Finally, he called Lens Crafters and made an appointment for me.  Since my old frames were 4 years old he thought it was time anyway.

While getting my eyes examined he picked out my frames from the half off area - a pair of Dolce Gabana frames that had been returned the day before.  Not having my glasses makes my stomach so upset and I just let him choose.  Not only did I get my frames on sale, the lenses were on half off too.

I wish I had a picture to upload to show off.  The frames are so great and I can see even better.  I get compliments from people who don’t even know me!

We still haven’t found my old glasses.  We have no idea what happened to them.  lol

    • Thank you CatKey88 for sharing your experiences with us.
And Viki I use to wear Contacts but they really tire my eyes that at the time I had to constantly add drops.  Would anyone of you know if Lasik is safe or not?

      Thanks,
      Veronica C.

    • Lasik is safe and I know people who love it. My niece however lost her night vision after getting lasik. My MIL has had no problems at all.
