“I am not crazy though I truly maybe very soon.” estatic

Next week, Monday the 22nd August the schools open to welcome new and former pupils back to school.  What does this have to with Grandma and Grandpa (Me & husband)? Everything for us...  We will have a new schedule to greet us Monday.

We are going to be playing the roll of substitute parents (knocking my head on my desk happy) to our five grandchildren for the rest of this year at least, who knows if it will be longer than that.

Mon-Thur:
Awake 6am, start work 7:30am-4:00pm (Mon) and 7:30am-3:00pm (Tues-Thurs). Collect youngest granddaughter from daycare, second granddaughter from Elementary School and eldest granddaughter from Middle School and bring them home to our house until my daughter can pick them up after work around 5:30pm.

Tues & Wed:
In addition to the above on these two days after dropping our granddaughters off at our house I go to collect our two grandsons from our son and we will look after the two of them until 8pm-9pm.

Friday is about the only night the two of us get to ourselves since during week and weekend on and off all our four of our kids visit or our youngest son who is the father of our two grandsons has to be driven to work.  In 31 years hubby and I have had little to no break from watching kids a bit of a ‘Catch 22’ situation since I love all my kids and grandkids but I do find that these days I wear down fairly quickly I don’t have have the energy I use to...
