I saw the movie "*Australia"* today starring Nicole Kidman and Huge Jackman (Hottie).
I recomend to everyone to see this movie, its so interesting about the lives of the Aboriginese, the Japanese attacks, the culture, sceneries of such a beautiful country.
What struck me is how similar Australia is to America, being a colony of England in the begining and more wild west or frontier like the USA was in the begining.. and how the culture of the native Aberiginese (sp) was so similar to our native indians, yet so much more mystical.
Go see Australia.. it was amazing.. let me know your thoughts on the movie below. I dont want to spoil it but I cried, I laughed, I cringed... and the movie took me to a far away land, to a far away place to a culture I have yet to know, but one day will.
Too bad it only got to #6 at the box office. It’ll probably be like Baz Luhrman’s other movie, “Moulin Rouge” and have a big DVD audience.
EVERYONE that I spoke to who has seen this movie LOVED IT~!
