Auto Theft is a Crime You know that but how many times have you said I am just going to run in quick and leave your car unlocked or the window down just a little.  

It happens every day as we all know about the women who left her child in the car in NY a couple of weeks ago and two days later another women did the same. What are you thinking.  

Here is a little information that you may already know.

*Thieves do not want any attention.

*Car thieves are 10 steps ahead of you. They know what you are going to do before you do.  

*It takes about 30 seconds to break into your car. Your not even in the maul and this guy could be in your car.

*It takes 20 seconds to put your packages in the trunk.

*Talking on your cell phone could cost you your life.  

  Pay attention you are a walking target this guy knows you not paying attention to what is around you. So get off it.

• Know what you want to buy before you go it keeps you mind clear.
• Do you know how to use your alarm on your car? If not try it in your driveway so you know how to turn it off or on. You may think no one pays attention but they do. If someone sees a problem they will call the police.
