Yesterday I fell into a bad time, very blue, tears, and bad thoughts about not wanting to live.  All I could do was pray to God to take the thoughts out of my mine.  I took some meds, not the correct amount, I just wanted to fade away. It just came upon me really fast and I couldn’t handle it.

I laid in the bed crying, and then I felt my granddaughter climb in the bed and put her sweet little head next to mine, she rubbed my head and asked why are you crying gammie.  My heart broke knowing that I was making her sad too.  I got up out the bed and threw some hot water on my face.  I was feeling a little better because of her love, but when I came out of the bathroom she was in my closet trying on my shoes.  She picked up a pair and she said, “These are Fabulous” and she looked at me and looked like an angel.

She made me think of all you ladies by using that word “Fabulous” and I came up out of that slump almost immediately.  I smile and laughed with her and the day went on without a hitch.

I am so very thankful for her and for all my friends here, and now everytime I hear that word “Fabulous” in any setting or context I just think of you ladies!
