Well, I can’t believe I am 41 and becoming a student again .

At least for the present time I will be taking 3 non credit classes to improve myself for my job.  One of the classes is a 6 week on line class  and 2 are two evenings each.

I have been wanting to go back to school to finish my degree but as you get older and have more responsibilities it goes by the way side.

The  women  on  this  site  have been a huge  motivating factor for me realizing what is possible but like with anything I had to take the 1st step. The 1st step is often the scaries as it brings ” what if”  question.

Today  was a day where I promised myself I would act with courage by  signing up for the classes

    • I know this is difficult.  I have two semester left and then on to a bachelor’s degree.  I have two boys at home ages 8 and 13 and finding time to do everything can be a little overwhelming.

In the end I know it will be well worth it!!1estatic

    • You may find (as I did) that going back to school as an adult is soooo much more than you expect and an improvement from doing it when you‘re younger.  You take it that much more seriously, being there because you want to be and not because you have to be.

Good for you for taking the steps to better yourself!!

    • Congratulation on your decision! I’ve been thinking about going back to school for several years but never took action until this month. I’m scared but know I made a good choice to do it and get it over. Going back to school to hopefully get me a job in a new career in this awful economy. My girls are grown now and I’m just about an empty nester so it’s time I do what I think about doing.

Good luck to ya and good for you to return to school. We‘re never to young to go back to school. Education is the best outlet for us to keep learning.

      Take care,
