It's hard to tout yourself as an expert in something without the Doctorate degree and such. However, we are going to do just that.  

We're Elizabeth Hamilton-Guarino and Debbie Hastings – Your Best Ever You Experts, from everything from gadgets to shoes. We say that because of our birthday and anniversary jokes. On these occasions I want shoes, beauty products, clothes and such and Debbie wants any kind of gadget, phone, memory card or techie device there is. So we put all this together, as neighbors and founded our company, Best Ever You.  

We aren't a social marketing site, so don't feel guilty going from Fabulously 40.com and clicking on our site too. I've heard that Fabulously40.com users are as loyal as loyal gets and we honor that and respect it. We are an online informational site and also soon to be in magazine format. We even have the founder of Fabulously 40.com, Yana Berlin, featured in May at Best Ever You.

And because I am the one writing this month, let me share with you that I am also your 5'3", 135 pound, mother of 4 boys REAL beauty expert. I like to tell the story about being in a pageant. Yup, I've been in a few pageants. The last one I won was Mrs Maine USA 2006.

Before you gag or click away, let me assure you that as an adult, I did this for fun and to lose weight. I figured what better incentive to lose weight than to have to be on stage in Las Vegas in a two piece. Guess what? It didn't work. I went in a swim skirt at my regular weight and loved every minute of being on stage in my gorgeous Claire's Collection evening gown and spending my year reading to kids and making cookies from my company Maine Cookie Company.  

I did walk away with some great secret beauty tricks and a smokin hot way to walk, probably not down the street walking the dog though....
