I am feeling blah these last few weeks. I’m sure it’s because I am coming down from all the extra stimulation of moving and getting settled.
But here it is summer and I am tired and unmotivated. I know we have talked about this subject before. I am not the 1st to feel this way and I certainly won’t be the last. Normally I am very good at shaking things like this off but I am struggling a little more this time.

What do you to to get back your motivation and energy?

    • Rest!

You have done a lot in preparing for a move then getting settled in a new place, it is perfectly normal for you to feel exhausted. Sometimes it takes longer to get back in the groove of things. Just get some rest and slowly you’ll get back to normal.

    • I’ve been there just recently, Vikki. Lethargic, no motivation, needed to nap a lot. I had a couple of things happen-1) I went to the doc and got on a new medication 2) at my networking club, the woman next to me rattled off 5-6 things she was doing at once, and that lit a fire under me. Not that it’s your same situation, just to let you know i have been there and it will pass. Give it time.happy

    • I have come to the conclusion that there is nothing wrong with me emotionally or physically. It’s just HOT and the heat is draining and I’m not even at the beach.

When I get off of work, (in the air conditioned environment) I just want to get in the house and change clothes, put my feet up and relax.

      Just drained from the heat.

    • I think your brain feels like its been thinkin too much.  It wants a rest. So just rest.  If you are feeling energetic do something. but if you just want to blah out on some tv or movies treat your body to tv and movies.
