According to the Wall Street Journal, Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. and Alder Biopharmaceuticals Inc. said they will continue developing a possible treatment for rheumatoid arthritis based on new data from a Phase II trial. The data, which will be presented Friday at the annual Congress of the European League against Rheumatism, show that BMS-945429/ALD518 met the goal of statistically significant improvements in ACR scores compared with placebos.
