California sunshine is good for the soul. I spent last week in Manhattan Beach and how beautiful it was! We visited my cousin in Beverly Hills, then met a friend in Dana Point Harbour, we walked Rodeo Drive and drove up Rt. 1 through Santa Monica and Malibu, then sailed in the Pacific. Sunshine everywhere and every day! Perfect temps..the water was cold..but that didn’t matter..I was enjoying the kisses of sunshine on my face and had no desire to get wet. The only time we hit fog was our last evening at the Lobster Festival..but...there was lobster...sooo...mmmmm.

    • I live in Atlanta, Georgia now, but I miss the California sunshine. I was born and reared in California, I have lived in the Bay Area and the San Fernado Valley. I miss the ease of going for one type of area to the next, the enjoyment on the sunshine on the water, the beaches, the hills. I love the drive from the bay area. I was a Sea Scout, we use to sail the California Coast every year. There was a wide variety of things in life to do, all within a short distance, but the Sunshine, the ocean air, I miss the most
