    • I apologize for taking so long. My son was home for Christmas break and I dare not open my soap while he was home, having him around is just like having my daughter at home because he likes all my bath and body stuff and he likes my baby lotion too.

    • There were 20 something samples that were mailed. I would really like your feedback - scent too strong, not strong enough, what you expected - how the soap makes your skin feel - etc.

    • I finally used mine last night. The scent and creaminess was perfect (creamsicle). My skin this morning feels great. To me it’s always the day after or hours after is when you need to see how your skin feels and mine is soft and smooth, no driness.

    • Oh good Vikki - At first I thought the scent was strong enough (I didn’t use much because I was a little skeptical that I would like it. LOL) but it has dimished over time. I think next time I’ll add just a tad bit more.

For those of you who are interested we are having a big give-away on the site [Link Removed]

    • Hi DeeDee,
Just got out of the shower!estatic

I tried the mochalatte scented one. Love the fragrance, it’s not over powering and leaves a nice soft scent(it would be great to have a body butter to accompany it)

The soap also has a nice grainy texture that is good for exfoliating, which I truly believe in. Really liked that!
The only negative is that it melts so quickly frown.

You sent another one that I will try soon. I don’t know what fragrance it is...they weren’t labeled and I can’t remember what I asked for, but I’ll report back after I try it.
Oh, and I would love to try the cocoa butter for my face.
      Thanks again.
      Carol

    • Sure - you can help drive traffic. estatic Post the link on a blog (a personal blog on Fab40 would count) or facebook, or tweet it on twitter. And as long as you leave some comment, your order counts for 10 entries! For those looking, a comment on how much you like the sample would be very helpful!estatic

      Carol,
I thought the exfoliant was too strong in that soap. LOL Glad you liked it. The soaps actually harden more with time, and these have only had a minimum cure time. That said, there are no chemicals added to increase hardness so it will never be like a store bought bar. Not leaving it in the shower or on a wet ledge will keep it longer. We are going to carry a soap dish to help with that. I actually have added them to the Spa in the Box already. I just have to take the time to get more pictures and put them up.

    • Linni,
They are all nourishing for your skin. We don’t make a soap that doesn’t have a high conditioning value. Unfortunately you have to trade out hardness for nourishing. In my mind is is well worth it! We use jojoba oil, avocado oil, sunflower oil, safflower oil, etc. Coconut Oil and Palm Kernel Oils are used to create Hardness, but too much of them will dry the skin. The oils we use don’t contribute to oiliness either. They balance.
Linni, you can register to win a Sampler of all the Soaps - and you can also comment and win the Spa in a Box at the website. We need more followers too. And I added a ‘grab my button’ widget thingie so people can put us on their websites/blogs.

    • Carol,
I thought I sent you three bars, no? The dark brown is definitely mochalatte and the exfoliant is coffee. :)
I guess I need you to describe the other sample so I can tell you which it is. If it is creamy colored, it is the cocoa butter recipe. Energy would be a cut chunk off a rectangular bar, and it is a sunflower recipe.

    • Oh,okay...I thought the dark heart shaped soap was mochalatte..that one is cocoa butter? I like it a lot. I have combination skin with occasional small breakouts...do you think I can try this on my face or will it be too rich?

I really like the fact that they are all natural. I keep feeling my skin and it feels very soft and smooth.
I’ll check out the site as well.
      Thanks.

    • okay I looked at the envelope again and you have written on it 1 lavender and 1 cocoa butter. There were only two in the package. The one that I tried this morning is dark, heart shaped and has and exfoliant in it...coffee. I think the other one is Energy because it has a scent (not cocoa butter) and it’s cut like you described.

    • Carol,
Is it “ridgey” - serrated? Surely I sent one of the samples you asked for. LOL If if looks like it was cut with a Pamper Chef Rocker vvvvv (like my illustration? LOL) My kids are helping me describe it as crinkle cut. estatic That would be the lavender that doesn’t smell like lavender. Flowery, but not really like lavender (to me anyway.) Energy smells like clean laundry with citrus undertones and the bar would be smooth. I thought I sent you a cocoa butter heart too. :( All three have cocoa butter in them, but in varying amounts.

Okay... I got the crinkle, ridgey, vvvv cut sample,...lol!

It doesn’t really smell like lavender but it’s definitely not citrusy and not smooth. So it must be the lavender.
      No cocoa butter.

    • Today makes the third day that I have cleansed my face with Hannah's soap. It is the Cocoa Butter bar. I swear the difference is visible. I have noticed a lightening effect on my chin where the hair bumps show after using chemical hair removal products. No matter what I use to remove the pain in the butt hairs it always looks like 5oclock shadow. What women wants that?

Back to the benefits I see. The soap seems to be controlling the oiliness I experience with my skin, you know the extra shine. And the blending skin tone effect does cover my whole beautiful face.

BTW this soap is heartshaped and has a floral design imprint.

Stay tuned for more product reviews from me.

You have the same ‘recipe‘, just with added fragrance.

      Dennie,
You don’t have to ‘join’ the blog, but if you ‘follow’ (only works if you have your own blog I think) then you’ll know when we post new creations. You can enter the contest without joining anything - just read the rules and comment. The more you share the give-away with others, the more entries you get (and you get mega entries if you place an order.)

I have found that it balances my skin. As for hormonal, I use a product called Plus that controls that. It supports the endocrine system and balances hormones. estatic My family would give me the boot without that supplement. LOL
