I was reading someone’s blog just the other day and I feeling of admiration came over me and quite possible a little jealousy. I began to wonder, can I say something or write words so eloquent as to touch a life, a heart or the mind of anyone to the point that they would change.
Do I know enough about anything to write a book? Have I experienced enough life?

I don’t know if anyone ever really knows “enough” or has experienced “enough life” but I’m pretty sure you are caring, knowledgable and objective enough that you could.
that is the good thing about blogging; you can start small, and see what kind of feedback you get. Then you can decide if it enough to put into book form.
Thanks for the input, friends and acquaintances are always a good panel to share first thoughts with.
Like you, I am drawn to the field of writing and the one thing that I can tell you is that everyone has a story to tell. I have two incredible resources that I can offer you for you. The first is a standard for new writers called “The Artist’s Way” by Julia Cameron. It is an amazing book that has literally has transformed my life. The second is a writing coach Shannon Jackson Arnold (www.theinspiredwriter.org).She is an incredibly positive coach and I love her to death and plan on using her this fall again. Otherwise, think about either hiring a writing coach or joining a writers circle. Also,start going to writing workshops so that you can network and find fellow writers that will help you in your journey. Good luck and keep us posted!

I like Max’ suggestions and I agree with Term...well the first part....lol
Seriously start small and go from there, I’ve got tons of stuff written, just don’t always feel it good enough to share...sometimes I share anyway, the lack of feedback is a good indicator of how bad it is...LOL...but I am okay with that, motivates me to work on my writing.
I think that you can. Probably not everyday, but when the spirit moves you, your words will be truly inspirational.

Thanks, because ultimately that’s what I want it to be about, the spirit moving me. I believe that “the spirit” is at the center of everything that involves me.
