My work brings me many blessings and one that I love is the invitations I get to go to the Egyptian Theatre in LA for movie premiers. The press is always there and I get to dress up and snuggle up to celebs and snap photos and have fun for the perfect price of Free. Most of the time, I walk away with a gift as well, making the 85 mile drive soooo worth it!

I attended a premier last evening and as usual, was able to get up close and personal with a celeb but as I looked though the lens of my camera, I saw nothing in her eyes ... just emptiness. I pulled the camera away from my face and saw a skinny and pale young lady who didn’t connect with anything or anyone and she was just going through the motions.  I felt really sad...

I realized that this poor young woman who appeared to have it all stil had something that money couldn’t buy: Joy.

Right then and there, I extended my compassion and my love and send it to her in a rainbow, hoping that she finds her way and realizes that she needs to change whatever she’s doing.

There’s so much more to life than glamour and glitz and when you find yourself wishing for more, consider focusing on what you have rather than what you don’t have and don’t forget: Have fun too!

Love, hugs and lipstick,
