French actress Emmanuelle Beart is just one of the few celebrities speaking out on her regret of going under the knife some 20 years ago.

The "Mission Impossible" star told French newspaper Le Monde,"I had my mouth done at 27. It was botched ... Today I would say, 'I am against plastic surgery ... It's a grave act. An act that touches our soul. It was frightening."

The issue of whether or not to go under the knife or to age naturally is a growing concern amongst the post-50 community.

Recently, HuffPost 50 sparked a debate that put plastic surgery and aging trends in the spotlight.

Filmmaker and activist, Susan Hess Logeais spoke out against cosmetic enhancement, asking: "And are we only physical forms? Is it wise to focus so much attention on our shell that we lose our connection to the greater source that animates us all?"

Her challenger, Deborah Gaines argued: "No one is opposed to aging gracefully — that would be like saying you're against world peace."
