Ok, why is so hard for women to give to themselves...well, maybe ot so hard to give in general, but FIRST? First, menaing before husband, children, work, etc.. I am moving from this place in my life and headed toward a more balanced platform. Me first, my needs, my desires, my issues, etc., then all the rest of whatever has to happen. And I am finding that as I turn this corner in my life, I am happier, less cranky, and all around more pleasant to be around. Sometimes it takes a amjor change to shift your life in a better direction...DIVORCE is my shifter. As I go through the process, I feel as if a load has been lifted from my shoulders...no need to worry about my relationship, or try new things to make it better..and I now have all that energy to put into me.

Thank you for you openness about this. I believe that, as women get into our 40’s, we think back on our lives of giving so much of ourselves to others and we‘re ready to turn the tide. There are so many unrealized dreams and goals, much sacrifice, keeping our thoughts and opinions inside and we feel that we’ve lived up to our responsibilities to others; now it’s time to take some time for us while we‘re still young enough to benefit from it.
