In Pasadena’s Playhouse District are 2 little known museums across the parking lot from each other: the Pasadena Museum of California Art (PMCA), and the Pacific Asia Museum. They have a special deal: pay the full $7 per person at the first museum, get 50% off the second. So my husband, Doug, and I—living on one income until my hubby gets a second job-took them up on this. If all goes according to plan, we should have a travel piece published pretty soon. Cross your fingers!

This is called “Second Growth” by William Stranger. This is part of their permanent collection.

This is me trying on a silk hat at the “Feel it/Touch it” room in the Pacific Asia Museum.

The garage itself is a work of art at PMCA!

At the Pacific Asia Museum, they provide a room that allows you to study and learn about ceramics.
