I have to say it was a really nice weekend. First time in awhile we didn’t have obligations or 100 people gathering in our yard. We went to friends’ for dinner, drank martinis, laughed, ate, took in the incredible view from their deck. I got up Sunday morning and made a rich chocolate sorbet then we took our granddaughter to an upcountry festival, complete with glass blowing and jazz music. Then Joe and I put some ribs on the grill, tossed a salad, opened a bottle of wine and capped the weekend with a great dinner and actually had a conversation without discussing fundraising, school or being interrupted by a 4 1/2 year old. Very nice. So here’s a little of what the weekend looked like and a short video of the glass blowing demo. The young man in the video graduated from my husband’s school, went to college, was just about to enter into medical school and decided to take a glass blowing class for fun. Now it’s his career and he’s an incredible artist. Hope you had a fun weekend, too!
