I tried to answer the question under questions but could not get it to accept the answer but I wanted to respond.
I think that most systems were designed to protect and help all of us. It is unfortunate though that many of them end up hurting just as many as they help. I have been on both sides of the system and there were times when I had money and drove nice cars and lived in nice communities and had nice furniture and such. At some point I may have been laid off or had to shut down a business and I needed social services to help me get back on my feet for a few months. Just because I drove a nice car, or had nice things didnt mean I was using the system. It just meant that I needed help for a season. Having worked in the field of Human Services I must say that people from all races, genders, creeds, social and economic backgrounds all need help at one time or another. Just because you need help doesnt mean that you have to be homeless, drive and old car, be dirty or have absolutly nothing, this doesnt qualify people for help. People do learn to manipulate the system on welfare and unemployment that is upsetting, however its not just that system that people manipulate and use, its everywhere. Political, Religious, Social, Economical, Family, Education, Wall Street and the list goes on all are systems that people learn to use to there advantage. Prayfully we learn to count God as our source and pray. Not often but sometimes we get that person on the other side of the desk that really works to help the system work for us. I pray that, that this is your case very soon. I believe that help should be given to those we need it. Blessings

Must also say that knowing the original poster, she meant no offense to anyone. She is angry and rightly so.
I was where she is once upon a time. I had a real nice Camaro and nice clothes etc. For me, I sold my car and got a less expensive one making a profit to help take care of my bills.

I also personally knew of a few people who were ‘rooking’ the system. Sadly the number is quite high and this is what makes people angry.

Honestly, if you are that bad off at any given time, sell the nice cars, make due with something a bit less expensive. Then when back on your feet, go and get your dream car once again. I guess it is about priorities and such. For me, sold my bad ass camaro and paid off my bills and got back on my feet. That was my priority.
