My husband and I just returned from the [Link Removed] taken by Steve Case, Founder of AOL who attends the conference every year.

As I sat among these more than incredible people over the past 3 days, I was well aware of the privilege it was to be allowed to attend, listen to these people, partake in the activities and be close enough to talk with these leaders. But Tina Seelig said something that I want to pass along to everyone. Conferences like this are open to everyone interested in viewing them. With YouTube and other media outlets, you can sit in your homes and access life changing speeches through the [Link Removed] Our little conference was just a small sampling of the information made available.

In Hawaii it’s my opinion that we live in a kind of bubble. This conference which was started in 1963 gathers leaders throughout the state of Hawaii in many different fields, gives them an opportunity to interract with one another about the state of our state as it relates to the rest of the world and gathers leaders with a more global perspective to share their knowledge and experience with us. It was truly a wonderful experience. I plan to log on to the Ted Conference website and access speeches on a regular basis throughout the year so I can stay enlightened and inspired.
