My whole life people have been slapping me on the forehead telling me to “stop doing that with your forehead, you are going to give yourself wrinkles!“. Well, they were right! I got those nasty lines very early in fact. I can’t even say exactly when they started because it has been so long. I don’t even know how to stop myself from creasing up my forehead, it just happens!!! When all of the hoopla of botox first started I wondered why people care about forehead lines anyways. And maybe I still don’t really care but all of the talk of it is getting to my brain! Now every time I see a picture of myself I think ” Oh God! Look at those lines!“. I am not a very vain person and don’t think I will ever do anything drastic to myself but botox seems like a very simple thing to do. I have a male friend who is in his late 40’s who recently did it & it lasted for a few months. He is determined to go regularly now every time it wears off. Do I want to get hooked on this? I think it would become addicting for me if I really love the results but I am hoping it will help me with headaches that I have been plagued with my whole life. (They have been less frequent in my older age so I think that is my medical excuse for doing it!) If any of you ladies out there have tried it can you give me your feedback please? If I am just being vain feel free to tell me!

    • Cheryl...I feel your pain Sister!!  I have the Grand Canyon going through the middle of my forehead. Like you, I have always had people telling me not to “do that” with my forehead....sorry...I would have to paralyze my face in order to quit!!!  My mama just reminds me that they are “expression lines...and honey it’s because you are such an animated speaker!” lol...well...they are there none-the-less...and I too have considered Botox.  Hubby just poo-poo’s it with “Do you know what that stuff is???” I have heard they do help the migranes though.  I think you are lovely just the way you are though, so don’t feel like you need it.  In my book vanity isn’t such a bad thing though.  It keeps us aware!  Good luck to you, and let us know what you decide.

    • I wanted to try botox too. I want it for the line over the top of my brow. I am afraid it will feel weird.
