Happy Friday all,

So, I know, you‘re all thinking:  did she get to the market?  did hubby get a decent meal?  how did they eat while under a pile of bathroom dust?

Here’s the answers-no market, but picked up a few things at Costco.  Hubby had all decent meals, remember-I’m good at making something out of nothing.  As for the dust-thank goodness for the new windows and reverse fan systems.

Monday I marinated sirloin steak in soy, evoo and montreal steak seasoning, baked potatoes and roasted spicy broccoli all on the grill.  The spicy broccoli was made by tossing it with evoo, montreal steak seasoning and cumin.  yummo, as Rachel Ray would say!

Tuesday saw me using up the chicken apple sausages that my future daughter-in-law opened up, through them on the grill with some green and sweet onions and oven baked some tater tots.

Wednesday I grilled some steelhead trout in a teriyaki glaze and used some of the lettuce I still had and made a big pot of quinoa pilaf and added some raisins and toasted almonds to it.

Thursday I found 2 lonely tequila lime fat free sausages in my freezer, served those with the rest of the lettuce and quinoa.

Then we went to Costco.  Tonight I’m going to grill some asparagus and mushrooms, use the last of the quinoa and grill some salmon.

Unless, since the construction crew and writing for 6 hours straight convinces my husband that it’s worth an unexpected evening of adult escapades if he takes me to any one of 4 places we have 2for1 coupons for.

I think I’ll e-mail this to him at his work e-mail.

Love it
