I am 46 years old and except for going away to college back in the 80’s I have never lived on my own.

I went from College back to my parents then, got married and moved in with my husband then, got divorce and back home for 3 1/2 years.

Well I finally am moving out on my own with 2 children and I am excited and scared.

I am also searching for a full time job after not working for 13 years. I have always had my own Freelance Graphic and Web Design studio but it was my madd money.  Well now I need a real job so I can take care of my children and myself.

I should have done this 2 years ago but I wasn’t ready. WOW I am ashamed that it took me so long.  Although I was going to school full time and couldn’t think of working and have so much responsibility.

Today I got the good news that I was approved for this 3 bedroom apartment and it’s back in my old town that I love and my children can stay in their schools.

Can’t believe that at this point in my life I feel like I am growing up but in a different way. Who would have said?

Well March 1st will mark the beginning of my new adventure and more of my Crazy Times.

    • heartBest to you!  I just did the same thing.  Its exciting, scary, sad, liberating...so many things.  I am one month into it.  If it can go wrong it can and will but guess what!  I have found that I have wonderful friends, church, and job.  I keep myself and kids surrounded by these people too.  There is a peace that comes even in the worst storm when you have support and faith.

Thank you for your words of wisdom and encouragement. I like that word liberating!!! I have great friends and family too.  I know my family is worried about me but I think I will do the best that I can and pray to God to watch over me and my children.

    • As women, we possess amazing strength!!  Even in your darkest moments when it feels like you have nothing left you will find that someone comes along and says or does the right thing to renew you.  I am amazed how many times this has happened for me.  Good luck on your journey!
