Going to the spa is a wonderful experience.  I love being pampered.  I love how my skin looks and feels after a treatment.  However, I have to admit, that most times when I have been lucky enough to have a spa treatment was while I was on vacation and I used Marriott Certificates.  Using Marriott Certificates was a huge savings.  Treatment packages and ala carte services can be quite costly.  It is certainly not something I would do on a regular basis.

However, skin care treatments at home can be done with similar spa results.  Begin by cleansing your face with a product that gently deep cleans pores and suits your particular skin type.  Next apply a Mineral Facial Rinse-off Treatment that contains copper, zinc and calcium.  This type of mask will refine your pores, improve your skin's texture while exfoliating and will help replenish your skin.  Brush-on masks are popular, as they are convenient and less messy.  Lastly, moisturize your face with a cream or serum that best suits your anti-aging needs.

On average, a Signature Facial at a spa, which includes cleansing, pore refining mask, toner and moisturizer, can cost around $130.00 plus gratuity.    By creating your own spa regimen at home, you can cut your cost by at least half.   BONUS, you will be able to repeat this treatment once a week if you like, as you will still have product left to use.

So, pour yourself a glass of wine, put your favorite relaxing music on, light some aromatherapy candles, get comfortable, and create your own at-home spa atmosphere.  Take time out for yourself.  You deserve it.
