Hello all!  I'm almost done with jetlag and parental duties, so now's the time to talk about the foods I encountered while on the Celebrity Solstice!

First of all, I want you to all know that I kept up my heavy power walking and I definitely watched my diet!  I came home about 1.5 pounds less than I left home with.  Yeah!

And I didn't skimp either.  However, we were in AquaClass which meant our "home" dining room was a venue called Blue-it's objective was healthy, organic and gourmet dishes.  We also ate at the 3 specialty restaurants that honed in on creating wonderful Asian fusion, French and Tuscan grilled food.  Hubby also ate quite a bit at the crepe restaurant.  I don't know where my better half put all the food he ate!  I can just tell you he admitted that "I still fit into my pants, barely, but I'm in them".  

We had soft crab on arugula.  Lobster martinis, incredible salads, sushi with a twist and so much more that I am truly forgetting many of the dishes!  My favorite thing was this incredible 9 grain/seed and raisin toast.  To die for ladies!  I requested it toasted with peanut butter for 3 breakfasts!  And my berry bowls were so delicious.  I was angling for the recipe (I was hoping that I could borrow back my bread maker from my daughter), but alas, no recipe was forth coming.

This was our 4th cruise with Celebrity-the other 3 were on the Millennium class ships.  We thought "how could this be better"-but it was and is.  Being the inaugural year we were ready for the best ever, having done the inaugural season on the aforementioned ship as well.  

Our AquaClass stateroom had a lovely veranda to enjoy reading and having afternoon coffee on, we were given plush robes to use, loofa slippers to use and take home, fresh fruit and hor'derves and flavored iced teas and water.  

Our bathroom had a shower with jets and soaps/shampoos/lotions/lip balms/foot & face mists from the adjoining spa.  I used the Persian Room and Relaxation area several times!  And I wish I could have had more than the one massage.
