I hate winter so much.  Today I am so disgusted.  The ice, the snow on top of ice.  Yes I made the decision to move back to Ohio from Florida for Love.  Two different types of love, love for my son who needed to be with his father, and for the love of my life who couldn’t leave his job to join me in Florida.

I don’t regret the decision, so then why am I so depressed and disgusted? Is this what they mean by, you can’t have your cake and eat it too?

If it makes you feel any better, it’s rainy & yucky in Florida today!  I live on the panhandle.  About stayed in bed when I heard the rain coming down.

Wear bright colors, put on your war paint (that’s what my boyfriend calls my make-up) so at least people will think you‘re cheery.  LOL

    • Honey - don’t feel bad about your decision - its all about learning along the way ....when you look bakc later you‘l see you learn’t something along the way and it made you stronger

Hey honey it could be worse you could be living in my home town and it just rains - rains and rains every day and when its sunny the sights you see make you not want to leave the house acres of pale white flabby skin laying on any old piece of grass ...
When I moved to London I couldn’t get out of the habit of not carrying an umberella 24/7 even in the height of summer.

So cheer up and put some war paint on and who says you can’t wear bright colours in winter ...

    • yeah spring is coming...I planted tulips this fall and I sure hope they survive and show up for spring, I am looking forward to that.  Thanks guys!  I would take the rain in Florida anyday, because usually within a few hours the sun is right back out!

    • 3sa, some people suffer from SAD, seasonal affective disorder, for the lack of sunshine. It causes an overall feeling of malaise and even depression. My daughter has this and finally purchased a special lamp and that has been a huge help to her. Perhaps this could help you too?

    • Well my friend, you did choose to leave me here in Florida, (tears), but if it makes you feel any better, I woke up to rain and it is still raining, almost 24 hours later.  Now did you say you are moving to AZ after the kids are out of school?  I am still waiting on you to move back to Florida!!!  I miss you!!!  Be happy, you are back with the love of  your life and I don’t think any amount of sunshine would make you as happy as you are with him.  Hey could be worse, I just had a mammogram.....
