discount couponsThe holidays may not sound as good as they usually do with the economy continuing to suffer, but we still want to buy our loved ones gifts.

Why not try coupon clipping and see where you can save?  The savings can begin before you even leave your house!  By finding coupon codes through different means, saving has never been so easy.

If you know what you are looking to purchase, finding something online has never been so easy. Online coupon codes expire so it’s important to be aware of their expiration dates.
Coupon blogs are also beneficial. Shop Diaryis the place for you if you like high-end women's apparel while Coupon Cabinhas more family-oriented items. If you are looking for electronics, be sure to visit daily
e-dealsand Retail Me Not (considered the "world's largest coupon source," having coupons to over 20,000 stores). Keep an eye out for expired coupons because at times they are still listed on these sites.

    • These are all spectacular sites! I’m pretty much done with my Christmas shopping, but I’ve bookmarked them all for the random shopping I do throughout the rest of the year.

I got lucky this year and was able to redeem a lot of survey “earnings” for free items (some for me, some as gifts) as well as gift certificates earned through a program that awards members points for reading emails, shopping online and referring friends!

This year I saved about $100 in cash purchases with the freebies I earned throughout the year.

      Thanks for the sites, Yana!

    • I used a couple of coupon sites, some of which I have signed up my customer card # and can just put the coupons right on my card. When I shop, I don’t have to cut or carry these coupons. I just slide my customer card at the grocery store and the discounts come of automatically. It’s great.
One of the sites is P&G Esaver..for free samples and coupons.

    • Heather, I’m jealous, I wish I was done....but I’m not. I still have to ship and buy few more things.

Lcmiddlesworth - which site are you referring to? I would like to sign up for such a card.

Dennie, sorry that there is nothing in your area, perhaps it’s time to  shop on line?

    • I think it is P&G Esaver.  This is the one I tried, but there were no stores use in my area.  I’m not sure if I was looking at the correct site or signed up right.

    • My very favorite is the $.99 only store they are in other states other then California,  I also go to a web-site called the bargain hunter I think she has gone national.  She has lots of suggestions.  But as I mentioned once before I am addicted to finding bargains so I also take advantage discounts.  Some of my friends can’t be bothered.  I’m retired and have plenty of time

    • Givalook:  I am a dollar store person.  I love what they got.  $1 for 4 postcards or $1 for 2 greeting card.  Or even a $1 for 6 helium ballons.  Wow...I just can’t name that all.  However, could you believe me, at one time, I spent over $100 in that store?  My husband is now worried about me even though it is a 99 cents or a $1 store. tongue out
